The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia invites qualified organizations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the Rapid Support Mechanism (RSM) programme. This initiative aims to provide multi-sectoral integrated humanitarian response through local and international partners to vulnerable communities in Somalia affected by recurring crises such as droughts, floods, and conflict, leading to significant displacement and critical needs. The RSM will enhance emergency response efforts by providing timely and flexible support to newly identified vulnerable populations, ensuring swift and localized action during emergencies. It will further empower the actors operating under the Area Based Coordination (ABC) structures with meaningful financial support and technical oversight to respond to identified priorities.
Key Details:
- Sectors of Focus: Health, Nutrition, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Shelter and Non-Food Items (SNFI), Protection, and Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM).
- Eligible Applicants: National and international organizations with a strong operational presence in priority districts in Somalia.
- Application Submission: Interested organizations must submit the required documentation in PDF or ZIP format via email to ceisomgrants@iom.int by the deadline above.
