IOM Refutes Unfounded Claims Made by the Horn Examiner Regarding Fraudulent Job Postings
Mogadishu - The International Organization for Migration (IOM) strongly refutes unfounded allegations published by the Horn Examiner regarding its alleged involvement in an unfair recruitment process for senior-level vacancies.
The vacancies mentioned in the article were not advertised by IOM. Any claims suggesting a connection between these vacancies and IOM is entirely erroneous. IOM routinely publishes vacancies on its websites and other jobs sites which are always clearly identified as IOM’s and/or supported positions. This was not the case. Moreover, the Horn Examiner made no attempt to contact IOM for comments or clarifications on the information presented.
IOM is deeply concerned about these reports, as they do not align with the principles and practices upheld by the Organization. We take accusations of this nature seriously, and we are committed to maintaining the utmost integrity in all our recruitment process.
IOM remains committed to its mission of promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration for the benefit of all individuals and communities.
